Here at Patrick and Son we have many different product to suit many different hair types that come into our salon. In our first blog I’m going to focus on our Moroccan Oil range.
What is Morroccan Oil?
‘Moroccan oil is another name for argan oil and is made from the kernels of the argan tree fruit that grows almost exclusively in Morocco. This oil is one of the rarest in the world due to the small supply and the limited growing area - hence the high price and the hype. Traditionally, the oil is produced by hand.’
The first time i used Moroccan Oil I was unsure if it would leave the hair oily and greasy which I’m sure everyone wouldn’t be happy with that result. As I blow dried my ladies hair I was amazed with the results. Silky, shiny hair in great condition.
Today there are so many different elements that can effect condition in hair. Heat from tongs and straighteners, chemical process‘s such as bleach and also the weather. Moroccan Oil sure does condition those locks.
Creating Morroccan oil cocktails in the salon is a favourite by mixing either mouse if you looking for a shiny fuller look or mixing it with a smoothing cream will create extra shine and sleekness against any frizz.
